Federico Garcia Lorca fue un poeta y dramaturgo andaluz, nació el 1898 cerca de Granada y estudió en Madrid junto a personalidades como Salvador Dalí o Luís Buñuel. Viajó a Nueva York dónde se inspiró para sus poesias. Fue un autor referente de la cultura española en la Segunda República. Aunque tuvo posibilidades de exiliarse, fue fusilado durante el primer mes de la Guerra Civil.
